There's a 98 S70 T5M for sale in Groton, CT with about 150k, but he wants $4k.

There's one with 89k miles on it in Tucson, AZ that I had looked over by the local Volvo dealer. It's in nice shape and you can probably negotiate them down to $5k from $5495. I can send you the inspection report if your friend is interested.

Car spent its first 70k miles in Germany and was then imported to the US. Has passed emissions in two different states so it's US spec.

Needs a new engine mount, the center console top is broken, and probably needs a tensioner replaced.

Sorry guys it seems at this point his love of VW's can not be swayed. He told me he loves the old boxy volvos like mine and that the 70 is too round. So if someone can find a manual swapped 850R lol...but I think he'll be buying a mk4 gti soon.

My pops would consider selling his 97R with complete manula swap kit, but
not for 5k.

Around $7500 with kw's. Manual kit is not installed. Also has sconeman short shift kit and brass shifter bushings. AZ car and seen no MN winters. Also has brand new Nexus guages oil pressure, boost/vac, and AFR. Can be include for more.

Again sorry guys tomorrow he will be test driving a 20th edition gti. He really was interested at one point but he didnt realize the 850 turbos never came with the manual. Right now neither of us want to do the swap...But that R would look perfect. Maybe I could interest my brother ...although he really does want a saffron C70..

Not a problem, he's just throwing around the idea of selling it cause it hardly ever gets driven. I don't think
he's put 1000 miles on the car in the last 2 years. If he puts the manual swap in he knows he won't ever sell it.
But it would give him a reason to park the wagon for the summer.

I'm looking to sell my 98 s70t5m. I'm asking 4500 but am slighly flexible. I've got a pretty long list of reciepts of parts that's i've replaced and installed in the last 2 years I've had the car. It's got all the basic mods such as OBX turbo back, IPD intake/heatshield, greddy profec b electronic boost controller, single mass flywheel with 850R clutch, poly upper and lower mounts, bilstien tr struts, vogtland 1.4inch drop/performance springs, ect. . there's more maintenance items that have been replaced, like i said i've got most of the reciepts from the time i've owned the car.
