Exactly. That's exactly what it is. It opens up the DP on command. The difference is, it's only open when you want it open...so you don't have to drive around with an open downpipe 24/7. So I can actually take my girl out on a date without her being embarrassed to ride in the car.

The trouble with all the over the counter exhausts is that they are only 2.5".

I'm ordering an angled 13G tomorrow. I'll be dropping it off at Performance Techniques to be turned into a freshly rebuilt and balanced 18T. I'm also ordering a 3" DP and 3" electric cutout, and a 15psi Stage 1 tune from TLAO (his 940 chips were amazing...if this tune is similar, it will probably be better than any of the competition). About the only good thing to come out of joining the Army was the bonus...the rest of the experience is one I could have gone without.

That's all I'll be doing to this car power-wise. If it makes ~240whp I'll be more than happy.

Get at least white injectors with that 18t and at least some for of a boost controller whether its an mbc or ebc
