I've ziptied my OBX to the factory exhaust when I put it on in the summer but I am lazy no more!
To avoid buying useless junk at Home Depot I would like to hear what the VS community has to say about this.
Links to past threads or solution items would be awesome.

I used hoes clamps with a piece of rubber hose over the volvo hangers and on the exhaust hangers.. pretty ghetto but it did the job

I took large oval rubber exhaust hangers and band clamped them between the stock bracket and the obx ones. Works perfect if you can understand what i am saying.

Kinda? like using a worm clamp over the circumference of a hanger? Due to the hanger being to big?

I just used the stock exhaust hangers and rubber mounts. I am not sure of the interference problems that everyone else had but I did have to bend the rear hangers down a bit to get the tip to clear then opening.

Am I missing something? Why not have new hangers welded on where the old ones are, join the two together.......replace the rubber portions if you wish and rock n roll?
Or is the object here to avoid welding? If so then carry on and good luck.

I just bent the rear hanger a bit to allow for proper clearance. Also took my mini sledge and moved around a bit of the shielding underneath. No rattles on my t5 wagon.
