Probably lifter. When was the last oil change?

Just before the tranny blew. So about 3,000km ago but coming up on 5 months.

I get that too. Does yours do it when you have less than 1/4 tank of gas? My mechanic told me its a recirc valve or something that does a check on teh fuel system or something along those lines. If you pop your hood you will hear it comes from behind teh drivers side headlight area.
