If its anything like the 850 box, I had to dremel mine open... The fix is pretty straight forward once you're in there, if you're handy with a soldering iron, but I really recommend a high powered jewler's loop to examine the solder joints... failed joints are hard to see, and I ended up having to go back in again 10k later.

anhydrous alcohol and a small flat blade screwdriver is all I use.

Ohh and some patience... :lol:

So it is glued?

Correct. Some light solvent will turn the adhesive into something about the consistency of jelly and give you about 15 minutes of a work time window.

Not like the 850 box then, at least not like mine. I had to dremel around the seem, as it was almost... friction fitted. Good to know.
