Hi everyone. I bought a used 2000 volvo s40. I have to code for my radio and did what the manual said... leave in position one for 2 hours then put the code in. It didnt work. im getting tired of singing to myself in my car. Someone please tell me what to do!!

you only need to wait 2 hours if you put an incorrect code in 3(?) times.

Call your dealer. If it's the original radio that came with the car, they should be able to look up your code by VIN#. If they try to charge you for it, call a different dealer in town.

i have a 2008 volvo S40 and the AM radio is not playing!!! but the FM and CD works fine. any help here would be appreciated.
