T5 models mark the most technically changed offerings in the S60 lineup. Steering feel is improved with speed sensitive steering, while the manual transmission switches to the new 6-speed design fitted to R models and S40 T5 models.

LOL

you need to read this is not a 850 or S/C/V/70

its 01+ car and so far I am on the only one with a manual swapped P2 other then Marco at MTE

and good luck getting a tune from him.

Let me clean this sillyness up thou.

M56 Full Manual swap $1200 + shipping
Green Injectors $200 ish used
K24 turbo $350-$500 MAX

Get the Rica Tune and k24 upgrade kit from Rica and be done with it .

if your defitnly going with manual swap then dont bother with the K24 upgrade .

Just keep your stock turbo , green injectors and LSD with Manual swap

Just have funn trying to get marco to return your emails

Your car already has a K24, green injectors, etc. A ECU tune is nice addition. Thoughts on the factory body kit?

sounds like its gonna be a bitch to do the manual swap.

I say just get the tune and be done with it.

It actually doesn't have the green injectors. They have the blue injectors. I would absolutely love a M66, but the likelyhood of finding a used one to part out, like justin said, is slim to none. I guess I will do some performance mods until I can finalize or get a hold of marco. It is def. worth the swap, but need to have my geese lined up first. Thanks so much for all the imput.

BTW, no one mentioned any other mod, any suggestions? Can be performance or cosmetic or anything.

for some cosmetic stuff you would find some R interior bits like steering wheel and other items to help round out your package, have you thought about sway bars or some type of window tint.

I actually have a factory tint on the rear windows. You actually gave me a kind of cool idea. I have some plastidip in flat black. I could take all the chrome lining off, such as the trim around my grill, yada.

Also, could someone photoshop tinted windows in the front and making the side mirrors a dark gray (to simulate carbon fiber). Might look kind of cool. Thanks!

just a guess

Also does anyone know if there is a difference between T5 sways and R sways minus the rears not working ?

Go under the hood and look, lol. Mine are light blue. It could be a difference between manual and auto, but I doubt it, because the only thing separating our cars from the Rs (performance wise) is the injectors and the tune. SOMEONE DO THE PHOTOSHOP!!!!!! please, thanks, hehe.

There are like 2 or 3 people on VS doing an M66 swap in 850s and or P1s, I believe the only diffrence between P2 R M66s and the FWD M66 found in 05 T5s only require filling up a few holes with some machined bits... you could certanly find an R M66 with a relative amount of ease.
