If anyone is looking to replace their bushings for the break calipers, might I suggest these from TyrolSport.

I have a 99 V70XC with 130K on it and my front caliper bushings started to go on me. My friend suggested that I try these. The install is as easy as replacing with OEM parts. Only difference is brass bushings instead of rubber and the use of snap rings. Since I've replaced them, breaking is much smoother and I don't feel any play in breaking. When I break I also find that my car doesn't pull in one direction which in nice. Really though, for the $90 which is less then what you would pay to buy the replacement parts from IPD is a super nice option.

I can't imagine that the pulling was due to the bushings you had on there. Now what probably happened is when you pulled the caliper off, you fixed that it was stuck. Possibly.

And... it is braking.

I bought the same thing for my 540 Bimmer from Bavarian AutoSport for $59.
The slide pin diameter looks a bit different so they won't work on Volvo calipers.
$89 is kinda steep....and I thought BMW suppliers ripped people off!

we really don't have problems with the slide pins on the stock system, however 99-02 grand cherokees could seriously use something like this...hmmm

Yes, I still believe that it was worth the 89 bucks. While yes for 10 bucks you could swap in new rubber bushings I will never have to worry about these bushings now that I have them in. As for the slide pins, it came with new ones so the diameter wasn't an issue.

except it says the tyrol bushings are bearing-quality bronze vs the cheapies bushings being brass.
