But it's in need of a tranny. with all the 5 & 6 speed conversions going on I figure somebody should have a good one laying around. if so lemme know.

I'll give you mine if you were closer, some people had luck with their rebuild. Keep in mind, mine was running I just took it out for the sake of the 5sp.

That's the 3rd 5spd trans I've seen take a dump this year. Whack. I'll keep my eyes peeled for both auto and manual.

I said a million times, these 5sp were trash. I bought mine with the intentions of making it 5sp FWD which was the #1 most reliable set up EVER!!
Even with the rebuild, they don't seem to last long

Thanks for the inquiry, as for now the wife & I are seperated, we'll see where that end's up. Other than that still in & out of the friendly hospital every so often. Stress is Such a Bitch.
& yep, still have the 06 VR, bug'n the shit outta me creap'n up on 32K

The only Swap I'd be interested in doing would be a M66, tryinig to get Juan to parts list me a sheet & if your up to the task of helping, you may get a WHOLE lot of stuff painted if & when you need.
