300whp at 13psi? Is that right Nick? If that's the case I could get pretty close to that with a little work! :) I've gotta check up on your specs again. We're all waiting for Lucky to get those ME7 ready for us. I just hope they are worth the wait though...

Sorry to hear IPD is not coming through, however I'm sure working with Lucky will be significantly more direct.

300WHP @ 13psi is quite nice. That intake definitely is a contributing factor. Did Aaron make you an AWD header, or are you running an R manifold?

Hope fully you will bring the wagon to Carlisle next year!

Welp, if Lucky can't resolve the problem let me know. My buddy had a Rally motor built & shipped here from Sweden, Then the engine builder flew over to tune the car for us. You may have to go to a Stand alone like SDS. . . . . I'll have him inquire on what they may & may not be able to do.

...............Dave

I'm not going to standalone. With the way these cars are set up I'd have to do way to much other hacking, if my car wasn't clean I'd go that route but I don't have a bunch of rattles and what not and I don't want to rip the entire car apart. It runs fine as is I just can't seem to get tuning support.

Yes, that's correct. Keep in mind I have the intake manifold Aaron made and full exhaust, etc. That was also through the mufflers, dump cap in place. The car has a lot more left in it if Lucky can tune it I'll be happy. I'm sure IPD could do something but we aren't getting good feelings of that happening quickly...and well after 2 years I just want to drive the darn thing,

R Manifold only for now. When I had plans to go to a ball bearing turbo and have Aaron build a manifold but with the lack of tuning support that idea will just have to wait. I have very high hopes for Lucky. I think IPD could get it done it's just getting them to do it. With the extra volume of the intake, etc, etc it just needs to be tuned and we can't seem to make that happen and at this point I just want to be able to enjoy the car. I was "told" on several of the forums 300awhp would never be possible out of a 19T so I guess I really shouldn't be bitchy about it....hardly a shaby number.

I am hoping by picking the car up now I'll bring it to my house in Texas and get it cleaned up and the projects I need to do done so this spring I can take it to my place in St Louis and make Carisle. It's in the cards this year, I've got it on my calendar and I'm already booking work stuff into March so I should be able to work it in.

Congrats on getting the car to this point Nick - I've always followed the progress. It's a shame that IPD hasn't been more helpful.

WOW!!! :o IIRC you have Aarons intake, IPD drop in intercooler, NA intake cam and Aarons VVT hubs. Is there anything else that I forgot? How is the low end power? Do you have any dyno print outs?

I've got CJ's 3" DP and a full 3" exhaust to duals so like I said it hopefully it wouldn't take much for me to reach 300! Although I would never get the M66 since this is my DD.

I do not have NA cams or VVT hubs...I think you are thinking of John's car. I have an R manifold with a custom made catless downpipe and full exhaust (3" mandrel bent) with a dump cap and then TME mufflers.

Lowend power was great last time I drove it, I haven't driven it since the TCV change. I have dyno charts on my phone, I need to scan them.

Got the car home to Fort Worth from Houston yesterday without a hitch (other than getting it in and out of my driveway is an issue)....ran great and got awesome MPG. I had it to 140mph for a bit with very little effort. Tucked away in the garage for now, going for a full show detail later this week.

Not sure now if Carlisle is possible, one of my friends asked me to be the best man in his wedding and it's May 18. Maybe I could drive the car up the weekend prior to the meet then fly up after the wedding? lol we'll see.

Don't worry, it'll make a showing this summer. The VCOA Nationals are here in St Louis so I'll have the car here for that and then drive it home to Texas on Hot Rod Power Tour!

ARD 99-00 tunes are ready just finalizing the loader. Lucky hopes to have that resolved within a month.. I can tell you this from working with Lucky, he has a different way altogether of tuning. He brings things to the table that no one else has thought of or tried to figure out. You can count on him to figure out a tune for you if you go with him. Also I've seen the difference between TME tunes and ARD's tunes, I feel confident saying you're going to be a lot happier with the ARD tune plus Lucky's customer service is incredible.

I've been talking to Lucky since his move away from IPD and would like him to take a stab at tuning it. At this time he's not set up to do a remote tune which is what I need. Maybe sometime after March. We're staying in contact and at some point we will get together and make it happen.

The car is in Dallas now so I'll have to find an AWD Mustang Dyno there when the time comes. Just depending how things go I may wait until after the VCOA national and Hot Rod Power Tour to retune. I'm not sure if I'll have time due to work travel to do it prior. It's running good now and is strong.

Few new photos since the car was clayed, wet sanded, full buff and polish, etc. I've since added new lug nuts since the ones on the car were getting dull/chipped. I need to install a new rubber mount on the drivers side rear muffler to level the tips out.

Not with IPD. I've given up with them. The car is plenty fast as it is and runs good so I am going to run it as is until after my big road trip to StLouis for the VCOA national meet and return home to Texas on hot rod power tour. I will then have Lucky retune the car this fall. I'm just too busy with work right now to justify trying anything new prior to the meets. I really only have about 2 weeks of free time prior to then so I don't want to do anything that might prevent me from making those events. I've been driving it when I am actually home in Texas, otherwise it sits under a car cover in the garage.

I've got a few little interior odds and ends to clean up and then once lucky tunes it the car will be 100% done.
