No, I was corrected by Nebor. So, what exactly is the throttle body? And where is the IAC valve?
From what I understand now, the throttle body is the part with the circular flap with the bar going through the middle. Is that even correct?

The throttle body is the metallic square piece of metal with a cylinder through it. You know where your air box is? Well just up from that is the AMF, or air mass flow meter. Next up there will be a hard plastic tube, approximately 3" in diameter, the flame trap that you cleaned plugs into the side of this. Next up towards the engine is the throttle body. When you take it out, it will have a metal circle in the middle of the cylinder, this is called the butterfly valve. When closed, this piece of metal is at an angle perpendicular to the rest of the cylinder, meaning that no air comes through. When the throttle is depressed, the butterfly valve opens, allowing air to pass on either side of it. If this is dirty, it can not closer properly, not open properly, or the sides of the throttle body can disrupt air flow.
That's the best I can really explain it. And I'm not too sure if that's the exact layout on an 850, I've only helped take a T5 apart once at the shop, but it should be pretty similar to the 6-cylinder 960, since the motors are the same. I want to say the throttle body is located on the right side of the 5-cylinder engines.
Again, someone more familiar with 850s can probably help you out more.
