I know there have been discussions about it but no thread I could fine. For all those with ME7, show your interested here and maybe.. just maybe..

I would much rather spend $1000 on a tune that I can adjust with upgrades over a $1000 tune that I cant...

Any and all info should be posted here, Hope TT can chime in :)

ME7 is approx 5 times the processing power and 4 times the resolution. Hardly sucks IMO. True closed loop PID control. Make it like protune for Cobb access port at $995 and you should have a pretty solid market.

I'm down.

I WILL buy one if it happens before I make a terrible mistake first.

I am so disheartened by the less than desirable results from the MTE '00 manual tunes that I am on the verge of a 4.4 swap.

edit: can't imagine many people capable of dealing with the kind of down time required to send your ECU off to TT to be modded though.

id imagine it would be possible to code a new ecu to the vin? if not, i would even send my ecu away for a couple weeks.. totally worth the capability to tune.

there isnt really any downtime.... it comes from CJ in California, then you send your core back.

ME7 is VIN specific so we would have to send our ecu's to him.. That is unless, TT can reprogram any ECU to a VIN

this would definitely be nice, I've been tossing around the thought of ditching the 00'R for a 98'R just to go manual. Although, after driving my 99 n/a 5-speed vs my 96 n/a 5 speed, the me7 feels definitely smoother, a much better driving experience IMO. Also, I like my VVT. Just my .02.
