Alrighty... here we go

Upfront - MbQuart 5.25" components with the tweets custom fit in OEM tweeter space
In Da Back - MbQuart 5.25" coaxial speakers custom fit into OEM rear deck 5x7's

I currently have nothing in the back doors as I believe with the correct projectioning (is that even a word? lol) off of the rear glass there is no need for them. Especially when tight on cash sad.gif

I have tried swapping these speakers on both front and rear DOORS:

- 5.25 focal polyglass V2 (almost didn't make it in front, a little bit of push will help)
- 5.25 infinity reference
- 5.25 nakamichi SP-S522

thought we had something similar..oh well..

dash, 3-1/2" will fit, required some trim to make flush
front door, 5-1/4" didn't fit at first, had to trim door panel
rear door, 6-1/2" fit, but not under stock grill.
tailgate pillar, tweet fit.

Focal Utopia 5.25 components ARE NOT A DROP IN replacement for the front speakers in an 850.
BUT IMage Dynamics CD-2 Comp Minihorns will fit under the dash and you can attach them, in part, to the trim panel under the steering wheel and glove box, respectively.

with wagons, u have a tweet in the tailgate pillar

with sedans, u have a deck behind the rear seats

ohms may be different in the rear doors depending on 4 or 5 door and what options in terms of audio u got.

Front doors and rear doors : 5.25 Alpine, fits perfectly.
Rear deck : 5 X 7 Alpine fits easily
All of them are coaxials.

To fit all the speakers, I only had to drill in new holes (for the screws).
'93 850 GLT NA (bad thing I didn't know they had turbos...) TOTALED
'98 S70 very stock... TOTALED
'98 S70 T5 SE, (I finally have a turbo!) NOT YET TOTALED...
