Pictures below, thanks alot to yangotang

hope these work....just 2 angles through the oil filler cap. Note the shiny metal coming through on the cam lobes...that wasn't there 500 miles ago, but you can still see plenty of crud cooked onto the shaft itself and the tray underneath.

Sorry, I just saw the need to resize and thumbnail your images, they were really really big.

You have some focusing issues to fix. Nice though. I may need to do this to my car sometime. A bit of a rough acceleration.

Try using "Macro" mode on your digi-cam.

Yeah, you just put in 5 1/2 quarts of oil and then pour in a bottle of Auto-RX. I used the stuff for 600 miles and was astonished with the results.

Results like no more baked on crap inside the filler cap. The cam lobes are all super shiny now.

i'm on my first my first application of Auto-Rx as well. because of all the driving i did over Thanksgiving, the 1500 miles went fast, so i'll probably change the oil tomorrow.

the idle has just recently gotten a little choppy - hopefully it's because all the stuff that was stuck to the inside of my engine is now circulating in my oil and ready to come out.

i should have taken a "before" picture.

They say auto-rx is especially good for turbos due to "cooking" of the oil. I don't know. I just want faster start-ups, which I'm starting to get even with 10w30 oil and 30 degree mornings, clean looking cams, a clean pcv system, and the knowledge my turbo is relatively clean.

Think about it like this. It's like $25 for the first bottle...it'll take a minimum of 3500 miles to fully use that first bottle. Plenty of time to decide whether or not to get a second treatment, or if you want your money back.

-Joe

P.s. Feeling some weird stuff right now, but i'm overly sensitive to the car and my thermostat is busted...20 minute drive tonite and it didn't get higher than like 4 on the temp guage.

Auto-Rx won't remove the brown stain in the pores of the cast aluminum parts. It will liquify varnish, carbon, and sludge for removal either in the filter or the oil drain. It worked very well in my '96 850T...the turbo boost gauge seem to climb faster now when I mash the pedal. Many folks report more junk removed during the "rinse" portion of the cleaning process which is just running regular, non-synthetic oil. Heavily sludged engines or engines with rings stuck in the grooves with carbon will benefit from the two-cleaning routine. I've used it in two engines and one transmission so far. I'm satisfied.

Two interesting official documents:---the patent office's seach function is down as I type, so put in Auto-Rx's patent number, 6,544,349, into http://www.uspto.gov/patft/index.html and read what it says. Also note the Material Safety Data Sheet data on the Auto-Rx.com site...nothing hazardous or toxic.
