And the lowered, please excuse the extreme dirtyness of the car.

Volans are cool wheels, besides the fact that every other 850 on this board has them.

I've never been a fan of volans and the crazy prices people pay for them. You can get tethys for half the price and they're a better looking (matter of opinion I guess) and stronger wheel (they're a bit heavier - nothing you'd ever notice though).
Be warned, take off a few days/weeks from work to refinish them and one afternoon a week to wash them. My girlfriend and I took an entire weekend to completely sand down, primer, paint and clear them.

I keep a microfiber cloth in my car, every couple days wipe them down.

But seriously, if you have quality brakepads like akebono or something that doesn't put off a lot of dust, they're easy to keep clean.
I had them with OEM brake pads way back in the day and I almost sold them they were such a pain in the ass to wash. Washing brake dust out of every single one of those divots gets old pretty quick.

No. My Dad was the last one to do my brakes on my car, gauranteed there's some cheap Autozone brake pads on there, shit load of brake dust. Maybe a minute per wheel with a microfiber cloth, done and done. Never ever have spent more than ten or 15 minutes cleaning my wheels if I want to get them spotless and shined up.
