Im looking into getting a new set of springs, ipd ones or h&r or something similar, but they wont work with the nivomat rear suspension, can someone explain to me what this is/how to tell if my car has that. Also which lowering springs you recommend, and how much im looking to spend to get them installed. Thankyou

i read you can tell by looking at if they go from 2 -> 3" on the rear is this true?

Nivomat basically incorporates the functions of the spring and damper into a single unit, as well as providing a self leveling function. You shouldn't have them.
