Scott, I guess you have to look at it in a certain way. Some would hesitate in contacting a supplier since it seems sometimes we can be told "well this is what it is and you don't have to buy it if you don't like it" (doesn't apply to all suppliers, IPD as an example). Obviously taking that step to even pursue it might not be worth the hassle over a $5 part, most would just go grab another at the local dealer and call it a day. After multiple occurrences though I can see where this would become a wtf issue...Why does this part fail, etc, etc. Very easy to see why some would be totally heated after so much time wasted on a stupid piece of rubber.
Your reactions seems pretty great to me overall, I'm glad to hear that we can contact someone directly with product issues. Recently been seeing you or some other FCP folks posting around the forums but didn't quite get that feeling of "doors open" communication...this makes me feel a little better about the FCP brand after reading the responses in this thread
Now question, is the replacement Volvo part also going to be available separately for purchase off the FCP site soon? And since I believe FCP offers some type of warranty on many parts will that apply to this part being replaced with a more quality product if a problem arises? I will prob be looking at this as a standby to use if the URO one that I just installed decides to go to pieces on my gf's caR down the road.
