Last week I was actually called out? lol. A buddy of mine calls me and says some dude with a mustang wants to do a pull, am I in or out....obviously I'm in . I go meet up with my buddy who has a nice MK2 VR swapped jetta and he tells me that the mustang has an intake an exhaust and that's all the kid told us.

Guessing here...
Jetta has a 140lb driver, 160lb passenger
Mustang has 160lb driver, 170lb passenger
I'm 220lbs, my passenger was 280lbs



20 roll: I'm behind the VR, stang next to the VR. Stang pulls on the VR, I pass the VR but I definitely won't catch that stang so I stop.

20 roll: We go at it again, this time I'm next to the stang. He must've been playing around the first time because I got raped....badly lol.

55 roll: I tell him to follow me, we go down the highway, do a cop check...hop off and get back on. He started in 2nd, I started in 3rd. He instantly jumps about a car ahead of me but I caught up at the top of 3rd and started pulling him in 4th. I think he was at my back bumper.


My passenger asks what I think the stang is revving to....which were my thoughts exactly. I call him on it after we got back to the meeting spot...annnnd whadaya know...catless head-back exhaust, intake, tune, 317whp.....fkn saweeeet

Not bad.

My buddies 07 GT couldn't keep up with the wagon on the highway though. The GT I ran only had an axle-back exhaust system though.

I can't wait to see what your car does with a the new build.

New mods to the mustang as of this weekend: Gears, lower control arms, tires, gutted trunk...oh sh*t. I think I'll go solo for the next run....and possibly take out the spare tire and leave my tools and everything else in my trunk at home lol. Easily 100lbs worth of crap. I could use some new plugs too...

Workin on it Brett . Unfortunately bills>cars I'll have the block done pretty soon though, within a few weeks hopefully. Justin has a used clutch kit and an m56H that I'll be frankensteining. If everything goes as planned the car will be off the road for a long weekend....I'm going to see how far I can take this 16t . Higher tension wg actuator is in the works as well as some slight p'n'p on the head...and possibly some meth.

Well I just redid all the IC piping coming out of the ic. 2.5" instead of 2.25"....short, straight coupler off the TB, 90* aluminum pipe with a bung welded to it for the iac valve.....Pressure tested the system to 30psi with ZEROOOOO leaks . Had 3 good leaks before I redid the piping and there's a huge difference, the car hauls ass now lol. Chris is goin doowwwwnnnnn
