Hey guys!

I have a strange noise like clunking every time I lock my steering all the way to the left and move forward... (moving slowly) clunk....clunk....clunk...what could it be?
Will axles cause that?? I replaced both axles within the last 6K miles... new wheel bearing as well
I'm also replacing both upper spring seats (XC90 OEM) this weekend, plus replacing all engine mounts

Any thoughts??

Thanks

Sounds like a bad CV axle.

But see what happens after you change the spring seats. They are also known for making clunking noises. I simply sprayed some silicone on them and I solved the problem temporarily.

I bet your endlinks are tired.......examine the boots, get the car up in the air and jiggle them around, I'm thinking they're shot.

This.

IF you have used aftermarket control arms you will find the steering stops have probably fallen off.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE STEERING STOPS FALL OFF? This has happened to me =0( the pin that holds it in actually broke off on one control arm
