so that is just shipping then for both items?

No...that's just putting the gearbox on a pallett and shipping it to you, I'll try and get a price for the bumper, the only trouble with putting them both in the same crate is that if the gearbox moves it'll smash the bumper.

Alright here is the plan.

Im buying a 940 turbo so I will NOT need the transmission anymore. However, I would love to get the headlights and corners if you would be willing to sell them as well.

Let me know as I am getting paid this weekend.

Well thanks for all the interest, sorry to those of you that wanted bits but didn't get them, this project is now dead and gone. Had the remains collected to day by a third party that's weighing it in, I would have liked to have done it myself but I had no means of getting it to the scrap metal processors. As much of a pain in the ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD as it's been I'm going to miss the old bus, not sure I'd do it again but I suppose that if the right car came up and I had the funds then er.....maybe.

Hi Tomcat,

Sorry to hear you're leaving the 960...
Thanks for all the write ups you did on your 960, I looked it up regularly to see if I could use your experiences and ideas on my own 960 in the Netherlands.

Good luck,

Dree

Thanks, sadly I think if I'd started with a 960 in slightly better condition then maybe I'd have gotten more done, I was hampered by a complete lack of spares over here and in the end finances. Now it's gone I do actualy miss it, may look for another at some point next year if my finances get better, think that next time I'd start with engine mods though as that's what let this down last time, it was just too slow for someone used to T5's.
