I was wondering if anyone has had the problem of the headlights being in dim/dip for the first 2 positions of the head light switch? They go bright for the 3rd position. I have turned off the tail and side lights with the little switch by the light switch. The manual says there should be no lights in position 0. Does any one have a diagram of the positions of the various relays and regulator, the Haynes manual is very sparse on this subject. ....Hoping for some help

Cheers John

It is more than likely the head light switch, when you push in and turn that little adjuster to change the function of the headlight switch, often it gets pushed in too far and that messes up the internal contacts on the switch. Just a guess but close.

sad.gif Well that did not work, I even took the little switch to pieces and there was nothing wrong, the rotary screwdriver slot drives a slider through a little cam which was working perfectly. It must be a relay or something to do with the dim regulator. Does anyone know if there are diagrams available of where the relays are mounted and their function? If not, I will try and work out which is which and let people know for future reference.
