So while it's taking me forever to research and build Phil's (Volvoluvin) old T5R motor, I decided I would go the iPD stage III route on my 850R. The difference this time, is that I would mate it to an iPD turboback exhaust system, iPD intercooler, and Aquamist. I'm contemplating running 22psi on 100 octane at the track once I finish it... Need MOAR weekend :(

Soon to be moved here... (Don't worry I'm really grounding to the frame). Still have to make a box underneath for the Moroso kill switch.

Been contemplating moving the battery. How much did that setup cost? Last time I checked it was around 100 but I was wondering if you have any cost saving tips.

For your switch, did you used a euroswitch or just modified yours (fogs and corners at the same time) ?

I'm gonna mount it on the outside of the spare wheel well in a tamper proof box while puttering around, and made accesible during track days...

I bought them new from Eurosport Tuning and was able to bargain down a little. I was originally gonna retrofit projectors on to the stock housings but got lazy so I went this way and retrofitted HID's in the lows and fogs instead..

I wanted to relocate the battery so I can make something cool for the intake and methanol injection. The basic idea is to make the intake shield out of carbon fibre and draw cold air from the rad cowl port (where the accordion intake pipe was once connected to bring air to the stock air box). Also, it will give me the chance to clean up the engine bay a little and to properly mount the catch can and HID ballast. The extra space will also allow me to fit an independent 1 gal reservoir for the methanol injection; didn't wanna use the windshield washer reservoir...

Excuse the MS Paint fail

I used some rattle-can "Satin Black" trim paint. Just masked everything off well, Scotch Brite, and then blasted away. 3 coats..

It came that way, but my guess is the previous owner made the modification..
