i really like this build.

n00b question for ya: why dont you route the intake downward like most CAI's seem to go? i just bought my 850 and havent really looked around underneath all the plastic BS to see if there's room for a true CAI.

i wanna get those 1-piece headlights with the lil eyebrows (that's what i call 'em). they look so nice on your car.

So the 855R's been gathering dust undriven and sitting on a trickle charger. It would appear that my preferences are shifting to a certain small Bavarian coupe that's RWD and (twin) turbocharged, and go-fast things with two wheels :monkey:

I wanted to see if there was any interest in a possible part-out of the mods as I'm most likely returning the car back to stock and selling it. Everything, including the wheels and the mods not documented in this thread--namely KW V2's--will be taken off the car and sold.

Couldn't bring myself to sell it :monkey: It's been a while since I've whacked the 850 with the modification stick or posted here, too...

Car's been sitting for a long time, but I decided that today I'd fire it up, stick my Go Pro on the sunroof and drive around for a bit:

Damn, and to think I've almost forgotten how much fun this car is :pizza:

In fact it reminded me of an impulse buy I made a while back when I made a random visit to ADP Turbos in Langley, and once again I find myself toying with the idea of what it would take to make it all work:

Very Nice Wagon!!!

I could never live with that kind of sidewall distress, however the wheels & stance are lookin' pretty darn good!

It's been forever since I updated this thread. I think I've put less than 200km's on the car over the course of 8 months...pretty sad if you ask me. Changed a few things, nothing too major:

Put the Volans back on:
Posted Image

Went from 32mm spacers to 25mm spacers in the rear:
Posted Image

Changed from Aquamist to Snow Performance Stage II WMI:
Posted Image

Added LED's here and there:
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

Had an aluminum reservoir modified to replace the ugly plastic Snow Performance one:
Posted Image

Tested WMI to start @ 14psi (current peak boost) flowing 50% with the smallest nozzle from the kit. It was a 2000 to 6500rpm 2nd gear pull. Ran out of time to play soon after :( Mounted my Micky Thompson ET Drags on Virgos. By 3000rpm she's leaving two 8"wide black strips on the asphalt, then grips again. Still pretty cold out.

In the last few seconds of the video you can see where I tried to warm the slicks up :josh:

This summer I hope to take it to the drag strip and see if I can best my last run. By March I would've installed my WOT box and EBC.

Picked up some new shoes, and some new rubber. ESM 004 17x8, et38. 215/45/17 Falken Azenis RT615's. These are supposed to be track-caliber tires, but they don't seem that much stickier than the Michelin Pilot Sports on my Volans... Maybe cuz it takes a while to warm them up...

The ESM's are like mini-replicas of 19" BBS LM's, except they're one-piece construction. 19lbs each at 17". Call it sacrilege, but I like them, I think they look okay :)

Posted Image

That's with 25mm spacers in the rear. Probably gonna put 15mm's up front.

Also,

AEM TruBoost + Snow Performance WMI controller in the center console... forgot to snap a pic while inside the car.

Bought a velocity stack for fun, and bought a recirc-type Tial BOV to replace my (now) annoying TurboXS RFL :P

Meaty tire fitment is always a good look. What did you do with the other wheels that were on this beast? The only thing I don't like about the car is the bumper strip lip thing... Just looks out of place.
