Women can serve as military police, which patrol Iraqi cities and often have been involved in fighting with Iraqi insurgents. Supply convoys and troop transports often include female soldiers and have been the targets of repeated attacks by anti-American forces.

You know what I love about this statement? NOTHING!

I still remember when I went to Army basic (two year's before it went co-ed, more on that later) and I vividly remember what female PT std's were ( a whole 33 % easier than men) Would you like to get shot and or injured right next to a "molly"? and if you do would she be able to carry you out of harms way? Absolutely NO. For every female that could hit 42 push ups (100 % at that time for females, 82 push-ups for men) I could show you 150 females that went to graduate basic that could barely do 24 to 29 push ups. Lack of upper body strenght not only helps you to get people out of harms way, it also helps you to shoot your rifle in the prone-unsoported position, with likewise made them bad shoots for qualifying brm (basic rifle marksmanship).


Time and time politicians and carrier minded officers show one exceptional female (for their lowered std's) that can perform at a man level, while the grunts have to pick up the slack for those females who can't. Are there men who do not carry their own weight in the military, absolutely, but unlike some women, they do not get promoted out of harms way.

Oh yeah basic in the Army went co-ed, so what did they do? The lowered the PT #'s for men, so that women would not be "humilliated", really nice!

There are some women that perform brilliantly and up to par, but they still lack for the most part that upper body strength that it is so necessary.

About gay's? How would you like to shower, take craps and be at an extreme proximity with someone who shares those values? I will admit that during a firefight, so long as they guy next to you can shoot you will careless, but how about during training, during bivouc sharing a tent, or taking a shower?

Let me tell you, back in my day, whenever someone claimed to be gay, for there own safety they removed that person in less than 24 hrs, and for good reason. I doubt that part has changed much!

I was with you till you said gays. Go to the gym? Maybe School? Maybe even your own town LOL their everywhere.
