Well I was wondering why I was feeling more of hard ride everytime I would go over a bump or a drop in the road..Today while at the mechanic I saw rubber shavings near my struts area and my mechanic told me I need new spring seats at the least. I also see that the strut is moving everytime I change gears..
I had replaced the seats and mounts along with new pair of adjustable Koni's in the front last year around sept 03.
From what I see around the strut area.. can someone tell me if i might just need new seats or i would have to replace the mounts and struts all over again..Has anyone had a problem with seats giving out in a year or so ..
Could this be caused by Koni's or was this just not installed properly to give out this early..My original struts parts lasted me almost 85000 miles..
thanks for your help
Is This A Koni, Spring Seat Or Mount Problem

i don't see how they could wear within a year!? The only way i could think they where installed wrong is if the spring never propperly seated in the mount. I really don't see how that is possible though.
Your spring seats/mounts should be fine! Did you try playing with the adjustments? Koni tells you to adjust them as they wear
