Mines leaking, can't seem to find any one that supplies them (well at least ipd and fcp dont). Is volvo the only place to get them?

I've never seen an aftermarket alternative. Pick a suction hose while your at it ;)

You should pick up an 05+ reservoir, They changed the pickup location so the power steering system doesn't go dry on left turns

You will also however have to pick up a new hose (which costs just as much as the reservoir)

I had to replace the reservoir on my 00 XC here in Sweden because the fluid was not getting out of the reservoir...something broke inside (apparently common). It was pretty inexpensive here in Sweden IIRC, I was surprised.

DITTO. the return( or suction hose) is leaking really good on mine where it meets the bottom of the reservoir. i was gonna post up a wanted add for both parts as i assume its one of those parts that either leaks or doesnt leak

would this cause the power steering to have bad suction which would then cause the pump to be inefficient which would then cause the steering to be a bit heavier?
