Does anyone know how to remove the rear carpet in a 850, theirs a tap that holds the rear seat cushion down. I want to take out tap(plastic) so I can pick-up the carpet.
96 850R w/dawes devices manual boost controller,autometer boost gauge, custom 2.5inch exhaust, S70 big brakes conversion, stainless steel brake lines (not on yet!), Koni adjustable shox all around, o.m.p strut tower brace,magnacore wires, B&G springs.

it's a sedan, it's the plastic clip that hold the seat cushion locked in place.

What?? plastic thing that holds the cushion in place, are we talking about the clips that are in the front, where the metal u's go into? the seat just pops up, and those clips should just pop out?

when you lift up the rear seat cushion their is two plastic clips of some sort that the seat attaches to on the floor. The carpet starts about several inches before it, if you never took the back seat cushion out of probably both sedan and wagon this thing is on the floor(where the axle arch is) it's not in the trunk. It's in the pass. conpartment.The device locks the seat in place on the frontside facing the front seats, but you can't see maybe just feel it until you take up the seat.
