Took the car up to the mechanic for a quick checkup and found out that the lines from the oil filter? to the radiator are leaking and nead to be replaced. I also found out that these lines are 190 bucks a pop from volvo! I am a cheap bastard and wanted to know if I could find these anywhere else cheaper? Any help is greatly appreciated as I am a poor college student who has all his money tied up in the holidays! Thanks is advance.

I had a lower line replaced last week.
Granted, I have a S70 so this may not apply:
Volvo Dealer: Cost of lower oil return line $115.
Time to complete job. 2 hrs @ $75 = $150
Total = $265
I thought this was rape!
I found a local Volvo specialist.
Cost of part was $90
Time to complete job: 1 hr @ $55
Total = $145.
The guy even did an all round checkup. Checked brakes, fuel filter, plugs wires cap rotor etc.
IMHO if you like to part with your hard earned dollars.....dont shop around.
