so. im not one to drive stupid on a regular basis.


probly around a month or so ago i just got on the interstate, crusing around 70 or so... and pass this red mustang with black vinals on the rockers, lowerd... def an exhaust..


i look at this guy (skinhead, and his little blond gf in the passenger seat. i pace him for a few seconds... then start to pull away in 5th (maybe 25% throttle) and let off so he can hear the BOV...

no reaction. So i figured he didn't want to play with his gf in his car or something. and thats totaly understandable.


but like a minute later i look in my rear view mirror and see his exhaust open up... he flys by me on the right probly around 100+ then zips into my lane passes like 4 cars then gets back into the slow lane, rolls down his window and starts waving me to get next to him.

eventualy i made my way up next to him (no more trafic) i rolled down my window and this is when he said the epic quote "ill show you what a real f**king car can do... as he downshifts and gets on it. (about 60)

i was already in 3rd gear, so i just lean into the throttle and walk him at a brisk pace.. (with the worst smirk on my face, im kinda a smart ass)

anyway by the end of third i had a solid 3-4 cars on him. i was in 4th for a second then shut down.... and get the ricer flyby...




he follows me off the interstate into the mall parking lot... and trys to pick a fight with me "your driving like an A-hole" (ironic for him to say that about me, when he was the one speeding wieving in and out of trafic) blah blah this and that.

i just stayed in my car as this "ignorent V8 power" fanboy was talking about how i should get a real car, and that he wanted to race me for $500 red light to red light... this guy was making a fool of himself acting like an idiot... even his girlfriend was embarassed for his behavior...

so i said "im sorry if i upset you, i like you car, have a nice day" as i pulled away (he yelled "get a real car")... then he jumped in his car and tryed to get up next to me again. but i made it through a yellow light he got stuck at...



soo, this was the ideal mustang owner steriotype... i made him feel like less of a man, so he had to prove his male domenence in one way or another, and when i made his car look slow he wanted to fight me. (no class)....



sucks because i wanted to bust his balls a bit and ask if it was a v6..LOL... but my common sense said that was not a good situation to bring that up..haha

Mustang and T-Bird drivers used to be like that around here, but that was 15-20 years ago. I haven't noticed it in a while though, so maybe they grew up.

Nice kill Jake! I love doing that . I had three people in my car last night and walked a mazdaspeed 3 with an exhaust and unknown other mods who was tailing me for some reason??
