Hi guys,
My car has been throwing CEL lights under certain high rpm/load situation. It has thrown many P1174 codes during spirted driving and cruising above 4k rpm. Last night when I went to complete a pass the CEL came on and I went to clear it and got both the P1174 and a P1171 which has not been thrown before. What is the most likely cause of these CELs? Is it the O2 sensors? Also what Volvo codes do these correspond to? I didn't see it in the sticky on the top.
The car is a 1999 S70T5 Auto
Thanks in advance for your help.

The P01174 converts to a Volvo Code 260A long term fuel trim.
The P01171 converts to a Volvo Code 261A long term fuel trim.
Volvo trouble shooting for the codes say the problem could be an intake leak, exhaust leak, bad O2 sensor or the MAF.
When you get into the trouble shooting it's 90% of the time the MAF sensor when those two codes are set.
The part number for your MAF is 8670263, when you replace it disconnect the battery for 10 minutes to reset the adaptives, then drive the car for 10 minutes under load, without getting on it so the adaptives can begin to set themselves.

Thanks for the quick and thorough response. I will look into the MAF.
