Driving to Chicago this weekend, any of you guys know of some decent U-pull it yards that might have some Volvos? Other catch is they need to be open on Sunday.

Tony said the junk yard was on Rt 12, somewhere east of Michigan City, IN, towards MI. I've been looking on Google Maps to see if I could see it, but don't see anything. Tony said the junk cars were right up on the road side.

the aurora junkyard always has volvos. me and doug were there on saturday for an axle and there were at least 8 or 9

also there are 2 in elgin, on bluff city boulevard. they are smaller but occasionaly have a few volvos there

I talked to the guys at Victory since I'm looking for a few parts. Guy said they only have a 93 and a 96 850 on the lot. That's all they have for FWD / AWD Volvos.

yeah we stripped an axle from the 96 i think. but there were a few others besides that. i found 3 850s and 2 v70s

There are two up that way, theres Auto Parts City and then theres a yard a bit north of that on 41 IIRC. I tend to go there but they don't have a whole lot. Theres also a place on North Ave.

Thats the one on North Ave, my friend goes there for parts for his E36 so I would imagine they might have a few Volvos, it also might be worth a shot since it's not as far from Lincoln Park than some of the others.
