How Your Car Sits

Recommended Posts

What was the reasoning for changing the tails?

I didn't want anymore tinted plastic, flat hoods, random colored bits. I want the body to look completely stock. I think a plain/stock looking car on nice wheels is a really good look.

now that you have those newer tail lights, the spoiler is bothering me... not sure if a later spoiler or no spoiler is the way to go, but it just doesn't seem right now

There is a black '97 850 in Antioch that has a seized engine. I'm going to wait a couple days, see if they sell it, and if they don't, I'm going to ask if I can come pull parts off of it, especially the black trunk with no spoiler. It wouldn't have a spoiler on it right now if it wasn't for the giant hole in the middle of the trunk for the brake light harness.

True  its just got a thin layer of dirt on it.

I dislike it being dirty but its either wash the car in 95+ sunny weather, or before it rains

Emiel: looks good.

Gabe: nice! I'm with you on the stock look. Comets would look killer on your car, FWIW. (and no, not selling a set, mine are sold and shipped).

Spence: details on the rr bumper please. XC70 bumper, I know but I want to see where it was painted, etc....

Extend your tips please.

I used to get the black soot on the bumper too until I extended them.
