How Your Car Sits

Recommended Posts

I would buy yours in a heartbeat if you were still selling it now. I'm going to be looking for a new car soon and yours was the car on this forum I wanted to purchase the most next to Gary's white S70. Bad timing :(

Picked up some jewels and corners, I also put her back on stock front springs and FCP rear overload springs. I couldn't take the H&R springs anymore, my back and groud clearance were beginning to wear on me.

Before with the H&R springs.

After with the stock/overload springs.

I miss the lowered look, but she rides so smooth now I'm never going back. I think with some wider tiers and spacers I can make up for the fact she is now riding so high.

Yea, their stock 16" satalites off a 2000R. I Would love a set of 17"ers but its more about a smooth ride in this illiteration. The next set of tiers will be 225/50/16 or 225/55/16, haven't decided yet. Then the wheels will get pushed out as far as possible without rubbing.

Just for reference, this is wagon on some 96 Grand Prix wheels and 225/60/16 or 65 series, I can't recall the actual number. I did this just out of sheer curiosity as I had the GP wheels off my other car at the time.

And yes, 1 stud lined up on the wheels so they also look uncentered.

^ Thank you , sir. Yakima - round tubes.

As an aside, a buddy fished that Yakima case out of a dumpster . A freebie! A white one, I rattle canned it with some charcoal bumper trim paint to match the mud flaps.

Stripey but functional. ;)
