Finally got around to polishing out the mini van. It came out a lot better than I thought it would. Bonus is we used my buddy's employer's land which was an old Army Weapons Depot that was shut down some time ago after the end of the Cold War. It was full of old bunkers and everything.

I really need to polish out and clear my headlights now. Last little bit to get this vehicle where I want it.

Not the easiest retrofit due to size, but here:

Factory Volvo blue box 03/04 C70 jewel headlights, Morimoto Mini D2S 4.0 bi-xenon projectors, Panamera shrouds, Osram 66240 D2S bulbs, all powered by JY Mitsubishi W3T19371 ballasts from an Acura TL and wired utilizing the factory jewel high beams (yes, quad high beams). Custom caps were necessary due to the length of the projector, especially with the bulb igniters. All worth it for the amount of light they put out.

Can't wait to see them this weekend.

So very underrated of a car. I'm jealous, just wish he'd take the stupid stickers off the sides so it looks cleaner.

160-160-165-0-158. The yellow is gonna need a new head after the last trackday of the season... will run a leakdown test later on to just to be totally certain, but yeah...

If it's just the head, I actually may! Still not sure yet.

I'm almost certain it burned a valve, given compression of the rest of the cylinders, but I'm going to do a wet compression test cyl #4 (totally about that) and a leakdown just to confirm (I've never done this before so I'll have to do some research). If I have to swap in a motor... I'm not sure whether to go with an RN or just another one of the same.

Decisions decisions, but as odd as it sounds, I'm kinda looking forward to the job. If anything, it showed to me what the weak point was and I can improve on it for the next season, especially if motorsports is going to happen more often... and at least it went out in a cool way.  It can only get stronger from here.
