At a local car show earlier today.

It was quite a show.  There were 415 cars entered, and the host venue ran out of show parking and had to turn people away. For an American-car centric show, I got a surprising number of people asking me about my car.

Michael and I were fortunate to have our cars selected to be within Oblivion, effectively a Canadian Radwood and probably the best car show I've attended.

I was placed within the front lot with an AMG Hammer, F40, XJ220, 560SL, pair of Saab 900 Turbos, Lada Niva, Ford EXP, etc...

You got a sick spot, and it was well deserved! You were right by the stage, and arcade too!

Still slightly in disbelief that they selected me for that lot.

Now THIS is nice. I love how clean and bright! Love the vent gauge too!

That interior shot just needs a cigarette lighter cover and that passenger air vent straightened out... 😛

Ahhh true!! That vent bugs me for sure 😛 I took these photos in a huge rush! Next year I'll remember 😉

Thanks! I really like the boost gauge too, matches really well. Sadly the car is back to being dirty again, a dusty parking lot + rain and no car wash area really sucks!!

Took my own photo because the guys at the local cars and coffee don't know what it is/could care less.

Yep, fresh OEM e-codes and OEM corners.

So what's your take? If I want the best light possible out of a P80 without going the route of custom building projectors, are e-codes really where it's at? Because I've grown tired of the HIDs in the C70 and am looking to replace. Not that I drive it very often in the dark these days anyway but it seems JRL swore by the e-codes with his aging eyes.

Are you running halogens in the fixtures or something different?

Running stock halogens here but can't say I've used them at night so tough call.  IIRC jewels always had the best output OEM headlight wise.  No comment on JRL.
