I will clean up my earlier post. On Sunday, I was behind a G35x who tried to pull on me and show me how fast his car was. Was he rudely awakened when I pulled on him instead. Needless to say, realizing he wasn't going to win this, he gave up and I calmly passed him slow enough to let him see he got pulled on by a 12 year old Volvo.

Kristian you are so right!! If it wasn't for the stealership f**king up my car, it would never be what it is today. I am the original owner of this car, and the only mods I did to it when I got it (after going to Sweden for it) was the IPD Stage I tune, cat back exhaust and suspension. It ran ok, but nothing like now.

And the G35x thought he was something, he saw me on him, went WOT, got a lil distance, but I closed it quickly. He was running WOT and I was running about 90%. He couldn't escape. I'm keeping my response clean. My buddy Tony was laughing the whole time. I've been wanting to run one of those for the longest time; glad to know I can get them. Next I want a Lexus I35.

Pretty sure its the IS250. There's some douches around me that have some with fart pipes attached. Just want to smack their peepee in front of their girlfriends.

No way, I actually overtook one on the freeway right after I bought my T5R, and all I had was an exhaust. We started from a 50, and I gained about half a car length before we approached stupid speeds. He had an auto like me, so I figure you car will prolly destroy a 350 from a roll.

errr ... that thing puts down maybe 170 at the wheels if its an auto. Don't waste your time.

I picked a pretty circuitous route and arguably cheated slightly, but I'm going to get there

A couple of weeks ago, before I got the EBC set to 18psi and was still running 15psi on the 18T, this douche in a G35 gets next to me and has his kid in the front seat with him. The windows were rolled up. So I start letting the exhaust make some noise, and the guy does a quick lil acceleration test for me. The kid proceeds to roll down his window and starts staring at me as if to say "come on guy, my daddy's car is better." If I wasn't in such bad traffic and was first at a red light I would love to have tested this guy with hopes of embarassing him in front of his kid. I was just dying to tell the kid "hey kid, you want a ride in a fast car!"  :P

yea, I'm still not a fan of the whole idea beating him "from a roll." I have more confidence that I'm the better man beating him from a stop. However, my buddy Tony last night explained it pretty good to me; "how many times do you get the chance to race from a stop light and be safe." And most of the guys running those cars are on the expressway driving like douces, and that's where you get them. Tony is still shocked at how hard the car pulls while rolling. But you guys are right, with the 18T and running over 40mph, the car pulls to 90 in seconds so maybe rolling starts are the best option. :D ;) B)
