Went from a 30mph roll in 2nd gear...ran twice.
First run, I was a good 2-car lengths ahead half way into 4th gear.
Second run a bit closer...probably 1 or 1.5 car lengths.

He kept up by the end of the second, but shift into third gear and I just pulled away.
HIghway run from around a 55mph would likely yield even better results.

The new 18T is starting to feel nice.

uhhh are you sure that it was a SHO, because ive had one CREAM me before, no contest. they easily put a little over 300 to the wheels

Looks exactly like this one:

If we went from a dig, he'd def. have me off the line...They're supposed to run 5.2 secs to 60mph and 13.7 @ 103 in the 1/4 mile.

Yeah, but the SHO also weighs almost 1000 lbs more!

280-300 whp at most . . .

103 trap on them + AWD + weight = not a real great roll racing car . . . but from a dig, pretty good

and if he gets just a tune, then its all over . .

Nice one Kemal! We gotta get some meets going sometime once work starts to slow back down.

Those new taurus are going to be a monster tuner car once some used ones start hitting the market. I wish they would mate that engine/driveline to a smaller platform soon. I'm sure the ecoboost V6 will be in plenty of cars.

Eh, not to be a debbie downer, and I love volvos, but yea.... the 11' TT SHO getting shut down? hard to believe...

Well believe it Debbie....... it happened, what reason would he have to lie? :lol:

They post nice 1/4 times stock, but thats mostly due to the AWD off the line. From a roll its a different ball game, my car runs door to door with my buddys 12.2 second T-bird if we start from a 30-40mph roll, and my car will probably never post a 12.4 standing start 1/4 mile.

LOL, I'm telling you I raced a friend's brand new SHO...I didn't race someone I didn't know and wasn't quite sure whether it was a SHO or not. :arob:

He was shocked...so was I :lol:

His times are mainly due to the fact that he can run 12" slicks in the back and cut a 1.2 60ft time on spray. Bastard :( :lol:

We never did a pull with him spraying but I'm sure he'd run away then. It runs 12.2 on motor and low 11's-high 10's on spray (150 shot)
