It would be nice to have a tune for nitrous..... But nitrous would be something i'd do if i was racing for money.

I seen some honda guys run 50-100 shots and get up quick, it works but like Gideon35t said its better to get a tune

Basically, yes. It's just integrated into the ECU

The tune would need too much ignition retard in my opinion. Especially on the higher compression lpt motor. Worst thing (in my opinion) about running a nitrous setup on the street is that you end up driving around with crappy hp because you've retarded the timing so you wont detonate when you finally do push the button.

A good example is the SR20DE. You can run pretty huge shots on the motor and she'll just suck it up and take it. I've seen more then a few 100-200 wet shots on a stock SR motor. BUT, if you want the ability to press that button on the road you'll be driving around with less than stock ignition timing. Your regular driving becomes crap. Instead, you can drop in a set of JWT cams and advance the timing and get awesome street drivability. So, if it were a track only car then that would work great but if you want to drive it on the road nitrous becomes a pain. Plus, every state has laws against having the bottle open on the road. On my B13 I ended up mounting a plexi plate between me and the tank as the tank was where the passenger seat was and even with it turned off it's still illegal because I could reach the valve.

Bottom line in my opinion is that it's just not worth it on a street car. You sacrifice too much. Especially with a turbo motor when you can just add some boost and supporting parts to get lots of extra performance.
