I was just curious...does the 240 Classic have real leather? I've noticed that a lot of dealers and owners mistake the vinyl in the later model 240s for leather when it's in really good condition. I've seen a few listings for Classic wagons on Ebay that say they have leather, but I wasn't sure if this was really the case. If it isn't, what more do you really get with a Classic vs. a base model 1993 wagon, other than color coded trim and wood trim inside?

Wood trim and a number. Pretty sure everything else is the same. Still vinyl.

All the 240 classics I've seen have the cloth & vinyl seats, either in tan or the charcoal/black. At that point in time I think the cloth was an upgrade over the vinyl.

Later 240 Turbos and some 240 GL/GLEs did come with actual leather. But even in those cars with real leather the backs and sides of the seats are actually vinyl, only the surfaces of the seat that actually touch your body are leather. Except the Bertones of course.

In addition to the wood dash trim, Classic badging, color-matched grille surround and side mirrors, you'd also get the Scorpius-X (14" mesh) wheels with a 240 Classic.
