Anyone here going to UNOH. I saw a 1990's Volvo 850 Wagon with VT Plate floating around and a V60 or V70 with a commuter sticker in it. If you see me I got the White V70XC

I went there and then switched schools to Ohio Technical College in Cleveland (same exact program and associates degree) because I don't like paying $680 per 6 weeks to live in a shithole with 5 rednecks who get into fist fights over which is better, case or john deer. Seriously, when I got there they asked me which brand I was loyal to case or john deer. I told them Volvo, they asked "Volvo trucks?" and I pointed to my 855... and that's about all we said to each other. I thread stuff here for I crapped my pants and I love how it feels and giggles and serious post on TB, hence the -70 rep. I still have friends at UNOH but they're VAGheads, but at least they aren't cow poking hicks. Whatever you do don't go to any of the strip clubs in Lima and if you have to bone a Lima chick make sure to use "The Lima Wrap" (double bag it with icyhot in between the layers so if one breaks she screams)

What program are you taking? I hope you get Snyder for EE1, he owns.

Also, just a bit south of you (about an hour) in Dayton there is an awesome Volvo crew down there. Dan has a 242 with a 5.0 v8 that is insane, he also has the coolest job in the world and is a super nice guy. Stu has a killer S70 that from time to time has a ridiculous stance. Lucas with a bitching XC70R and the Marlboro Man truck. The Kampman Bros with 240's a 940t an 850 and a 960. And last but not least Patrick with a 965 and an awesome goatee. They all have a world of Volvo knowledge and will bend over backwards to see that you and your Volvo are running right and happy. Most of them are on TB but I think Stu and Lucas are here on VS, though I don't know their user names so just search for Dayton I guess. Seriously meet up with them. They all own and are super mega nice (like all Volvo people I've met).

Me, Art and JVC went to Dayton for the Dubdash and stayed with Lucas. The V8 242 woke me up at 2am at Dubdash, it was parked next to me. I've known Lucas and Stu since Carlisle 2010, good guys, and met a bunch of the other Volvo'rs at Lucas' house friday night before Dubdash. Good bunch!!

Here are the VS usernames: Lucas is Korruption, and Stu is Scandalo.

Well it's been Awile since i've seen this thread... I'm now rooming with the guy with the 850 Wagon, who also has an S60 T5, along with some other corner carving kids. And yeah, I tend to stay away from the fluctuating flow of rednecks that come here, say screw this, and go back home. I'm a member of the autocross club, Drag Club, R/C Club, and was a member of the Grand Am club (GPA otherwise dictates-Stupid Cultural Diversity class). I'd like to hang out with the dayton crew if i get the chance... Haven't been down there yet.

I had Pack for EE1 (Awesome), and Young for EE2 (which sucked). The school isn't bad, but they need to either keep up the training aids, or need to have a stricker punishment on destroying comp'ny property (None of the EE2 aids worked due to dumb redneck frying computers on purpose). The school has blown up in the last few months doubling dorm buildings, adding a beauty school(Maybe some women coming, but still it's Lima) and there working on a cafeteria/library/I-T center....

I've gotten the Volvo truck thing plenty of times, Its kinda annoying. Although I painted up a 1/10 scale R/C truck body to resemble what would have been like an XC110, and some dumb-ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD redneck says to me "Volvo never made a truck"
