Check it out. There is a section of HW 129 in Eastern TN called the Dragon, or Deals Gap. I went over there this weekend.

Apparently they thought the wagon was pretty cool. I made the front page. With a caption as well. Scroll down to see me and the car......

NO suspension mods. Considering some used koni adjustables (only 3k miles) for the rear. Then buy some new ones for the front.
Or a kit, springs and konis all around. I think that would flatten the car out a bit.

Yeah you do have quite a bit of body roll there mostly in front...

Pretty cool though!

You guys keep goin' on about body roll...... lemme see some pics of you doggin you car into a turn and show me the LACK of body roll. I dont think it's as significant as you say it is. And dont post some BTCC pic of the Walkinshaw 850 up on the two outside tires and the insides are still tucked up under the wheel well. That stuff dont count.

Yeah, actually it only rolled *that badly* cuz its a wagon and the 850R wagon had the standard stiffness, not the unforgiving sport stiffness. Honestly, front suspension could use some improvement on the stock 850 R wagon. I'm not saying mine would be much better, but they only tuned up the rear suspension on the wagon whereas they really ought to have made the front a bit more supportive as well. Just my two cents.

touchy touchy . . . . . . .

i said you had body roll because you were probably taking the turn so fast, but since you have to be all jumpy, and say "don't worry how fast I was going, it beeez nones of yas besiness" i can care less now

I say that b/c most people dont know how much thier own car rolls in a turn. They just go by feel. Then in fact, the car is rolling quite a bit, you just dont see it.

Make sense?

I want trying to jab at anyone.

I think all of our cars roll a lot stock. Meaning some suspension modifications would be very beneficial for flying around corners.

Search in here for pics of people autocrossing their cars with upgraded suspensions... You'll find that when you REALLY push these cars, even after some suspension tuning, the body roll is there. Hell, on most cars.

You guys who think you don't have much body roll, try turning faster wink.gif
