Bush Jr Admit To Mistake During His Presidency

"Questioned about whether he made a mistake in his quest to find Iraqi President Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction -- weapons that ended up not actually existing -- Bush insisted that while he feels bad about it, bad intelligence had steered him astray. "Everyone felt that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction," said Bush. "And that we had to few Saddam Hussein differently after 9/11, that when you saw a threat you couldn't let it fully materialize."
"When we didn't find weapons I felt terrible about it and sick about it, and I still do because a lot of the case to remove Saddam Hussein was based on these weapons of mass destruction," he said. "Often times history [judges] you on the decisions you make and not on the decisions you don't make."
"Saddam in power today would mean the world would be less stable and more dangerous. The world is better with him gone," he said."
Among many thing such as admitting to authorize water boarding

Geez, I forgot all presidents do not make mistakes in office, except Bush.
most presidents mistakes don't result in war and thousands dead.
clinton got his dick sucked, yea a mistake. but no one died because of it.
edit: not to mention authorizing waterboarding...not a really good way to uphold the constitution of the US. they found every way possible to usurp the laws of this country. touting a really fine line as they did it.
i love how most people write his mistakes off as, oh just mistakes. no one holds him accountable. but i guess thats hard to do when he doesn't really understand the full ramifications of his actions, being that he has the mental capacity of soap.

you can trample the constitution all you want, but it is the place of the president to uphold it to the highest regard. he didn't.
and there has been study after study proving that the information receiving via torture is almost always inaccurate, so really whats the point.

So when they use cruel and unusual punishment on our American citzens abroad, they would be justified in the use, since we do it too?

If it were a matter of their own national security and the American citizens abroad were "terrorists", sure. I really don't see what the big deal was. Known terrorists were "tortured", who cares. So when they use cruel and unusual punishment on our American citzens abroad, they would be justified in the use, since we do it too?

Again, he didn't admit to a mistake. He blames bad information.at least he is saying what people have been thinking for years. gotta give him credit for that. it takes a big man to admit mistakes.
