I have been looking for a whiteblock for a project, and a friend rolled his r a few weeks ago, so we went and yanked it out. No hoist, dropped the motor, trans, subframe, suspension, jacked the nose up high enough to clear, and pulled it with a comealong/tacoma. Went much smoother and easier than I imagined....

here a couple key photos.

Traffic stacked up in the rain, either rear end the car in front of him, or run up the embankment, he went up. Said he managed his way out the passenger rear door somehow... That is him in the photo, he was fine...

PS, this road is crazy, four very narrow lanes, lots of off camber turns and dip and whatnot, to keep with traffic you need to pull 50mph, its a 25 zone, you become an obstacle at any reasonable speed...

Oh, OK - he was just driving too fast for the conditions. Lucky he didn't hurt anyone.

Yes, he admits he was operating at too high a speed for conditions, which I'm sure you have never done. ;)

This was one of multiple wrecks caused by one initial just ahead.

Glad you liked the post, but I hadn't considered it a write up. Where do I collect my award?
