Was it a black STI by chance? I saw one running around Downtown without proper tires still flooring it at every light.

Some other fag in a VW almost ran me over getting off work today in downtown while I was crossing the street with the walk sign on.

I saw a blue sti hauling ass through ballard. I was doing pretty good in the outback but I didn't want to chance what he was doing. Sorry about the mess dude. I saw a lot of accidents today.

So this is the driverside rear before i replaced the stay bar (not damaged side)
Posted Image
Posted Image
Passenger side (damaged side) obvious the bar is bent.

Posted Image
Damaged bar after i removed it.
Posted Image
Driverside topview (undamaged)
Posted Image
Driverside forward view (undamaged)

The next photos are of the wheel with the new bar in, as you can see it looks off..but cant see what else is tweaked.
BTW. Rim isnt bent. sadly

Once i got the new bar in even though it looks off i still took it for a drive, and it seemed to drive straight 10x better then last nights drive with it bent. but visually isnt.

DRIVE SAFE!

Crap i messed up, the last photo is the tire on the driverside (not damaged) but the overhead view of the passenger side shows toed in.

Glad to hear you found it, sorry I couldn't be more help! Rear toe is adjustable - inner bolt for the stay bar should have a cam washer on it - might try adjusting that and see where you end up.

If you look at the bolt in the upper left of this picture you can see the washer is oblong and that is where you adjust rear toe. You can move that washer/bolt to add or subtract toe.

Its exact what it was before, my guess is support arm cause it's way off and I dunno if a little tweak there wouldn't change much.. I'll try.

an alignment should fix it or it may tell you what else is bent.

Hate to say it but 85% of people who drive WRX's STI's make the scene look bad. The usual crew who drives them are 18-25 year olds who got the car from mom and dad, and watched fast and the furious a few too many times and feel like the world is the nurburg ring on the way from mom's house to the skate park or ski hill.

IMO, I almost bought a WRX a few years ago, and honestly, it was the scene that ultimately made me not want to get one, because I didn't wanna get associated with the extreme faggotry of mots WRX/STI drivers, least around here, because just about everyone who drives them is a num nuts.

At least all things considered, your car could have came out a lot worse. Go find this guy, get his plates, and maybe do something about it, like get insurance involved. I would have.
