That connector is most likely the WW fluid level sensor.

Did you splice in a new pigtail for the injector, or just cut & splice what was there?

thanks , because the WW still works fine so I was at a loss as to what it could be. I have gone through and cleaned up  the harness pretty carefully.

Temporarily I have just cut out the bad section but I'll get a new pigtail tomorrow and do a waterproof splice

Loading up a new tune from Beust tuning! I'm so impressed with Aarons' setup. Its' more involved than anything that I've seen before but that is a good thing because the level of quality that you get is very high.  Once he's finished dialing it in I plan to bring it to the dyno to see what we see!

trying to make some progress on the interior now.  Waiting on door panels and dash but found a MY 2000 donor car for all the trim.

Save the bumper covers if you don't need them!! I can use XC covers, my rear one was buggered when I was rear ended.

Kristian,

I see the switch and the irrigation vac port on the ECU but what is the brown wire for coming out of the ECU?

I added that wire so he could switch his WMI on using the ECU. It is not hooked up yet.

Bad news! Finished putting the new headliner in and all the cloth fell down so now we're cleaning up the old one. I'm getting some charcoal headliner material from Welco and we're going to put this back in with the new material. Have to pull out all the work that was just done : (   Should have done it the first time round

Nice! Charcoal looks so much better than the beige.

The only problem with those roof rails, is that they channel rainwater directly on to the driver's seat when you open the door...

Thanks yeah The dash and door panels are on a greyhound now. I should have this together in a couple weeks. Have to fix the AC while I'm at it and relocate the gauges up into the a pillar pod
