I dont know if you have driven it recently but the difference should be noticible in terms of front end response right?

you should give someone state side your mold lol. set up a group buy

You sort out carriage and you can have it for £50, but I warn you, it will need some work to make it good, I have also had to put some more strength into the front of the hood to stop it lifting.

Nice.

What did you put on the original hood to act as a release when you fibreglassed over it? How many sq. meters of fibreglass do you reckon it took to fabricate the mold & the actual hood?

I put on 4 layers of wax polish as a release agent, it took about 4 layers of 1.5mtr by 2mtr for the mold and half that for the hood.

Yes, the car on the left was having a hesitation problem when coming on boost, so a swap of ecm confirmed he had an issue with his map.

One of the joys of the hood is the ease and speed which it can be taken off, so today I started on the duct for the cold air feed to the air filter, I hope the pics make sense:
First cut a big hole in my shiny new hood :(

Next, fiberglass a backing piece on:

Then fiberglass a top onto it:

So now it looks good and is running sweat from what I can tell from the video's. Would your next project be cleaning up the wires etc. in the engine bay? In my opinion you are so close to perfection, clean up the engine bay. lol

plus I love how you painted it in the drive way.
