I've been troubleshooting the P410 code for my 1997 960 and I'm at wits end. I've replaced the check valve. Everything else seems to be working. By that I mean that I can start the car, the solenoid energizes, pulls vacuum on the check valve (10" Hg), the fan comes on and blows air. What else could be setting this code? It seems like I've touched on the obvious so now I'm looking for the less than obvious or borderline super natural. Thanks for any and all help on this.

It could be working but the ECU is not getting the signal it is looking for to say that it is working. Check all the connections and clean them all too.
