As the title says. My original battery is 5+ years old and seems to be losing some cranking power in the cold weather we've been having. OEM battery seems to run about $100. Buy one of those, or are there better value aftermarket batteries for this car? Never had a problem with this one up to now.

It's just a frickin' battery, not a nuclear reactor, buy a brand name that fits.

Interstate, Kirkland (Costco), Duralast (Autozone), Diehhard (Sears) or any of the others manufactured
by Johnson Controls are pretty good. They also manufacture Optima and a few other brands. I typically
use Interstate and many independent mechanics offer that. My last Interstate lasted for 10 years (mild
California weather, though).
1998 S70 T5M (IPD ECU, sway bars, end links, upper and lower poly mounts; Monroes; H&R springs; EST Turbo-back exhaust).
1995 855 GLT (stock). 2006 XC90 Ocean Race. 1 of "only" 800 (says so on the dash).
