[850T5M]

This isn't a racing story, I did not race this car, but I did see it in front of my school and I did see it take off...
Just wondering if this is in any way possible. I spoke to this kid (20 year old owner) about his car. He told me its a 98 S70 R with a twin turbo.
I agreed with him because I didn't have time to argue with him, but I was just wondering how you'd "twin" turbo a 5 cylinder in order to get over 350hp :S

Id like to add that on take off, the car was disgusting. Engine was knocking, puffing black/blue smoke.

Sounds like he is smoking rocks and your getting a buzz from the second hand smoke . A Turbonator and a 16T does not qualify for a twin turbo setup. I am willing to bet all the Chins in a chinese phonebook the car has one turbo, wont break 250 whp, and the kid is a "Hannah Montana" fan.

Given his poor use of the English language I am pretty sure he isn't smart enough to pull off a twin turbo setup. No chip will give you 390 hp and everything about that car looks stock.

Of course, if he has an iRoll chip in it, then I am totally wrong and it is a monster!

the add is from montreal, quebec... they speak french. So thats prob why the bad english.

Hahaha, twin turbo 5 cyl. On a related note, I thought about making a twin-scroll manifold for about 2 minutes. Then realized that it would have to be 3+2 into the collector, which means those 3 cylinders will have higher back-pressure than the other two

So set something straight here - are there really only 53,800 KM on that car or did he forget to put a 1 or a 2 in front of it?

it doesnt say in that ad that its twin turbo. But god made an exception for this car to allow it to make 390hp!
