Looks like it flows pretty well

looks pretty bad, the way they collide. At least ours make some effort to progressively feed into the collector.

Maybe I'm just tired but it looks like they have heat shields over the runners?

Maybe, i am tired but it does look very similar to ours, NO. the only real difference that i see is the separation in the mouth is more pronounced in ours. Is this from a diesel?

and the runners look bigger and more round to the eye. this has to be a diesel.

Biggest difference is that the runners are introduced to each other at 90 degree angles, no smooth transitions. This results in a lot of collisions of the pulses which then results in turbulent flow and very little to no laminar flow, high Re#, etc, etc.
